Instant oatmeal with blueberries - a recipe for a quick breakfast. 

One of the best options for breakfast, quick and easy to prepare. It will be ideal for people losing weight, but it will also be a good choice in the diet of an athlete. It contains a small amount of calories and gives a feeling of satiety for a long time. Oatmeal is a nutritious and healthy way to start each day. Oats are classified as a whole grain cereal, I choose gluten-free oatmeal. I don't have an intolerance to gluten, but I definitely feel better if I don't eat it.

Health benefits of eating oatmeal:

Oatmeal is rich in a soluble fiber called beta-glucan, which helps lower cholesterol, keeps the heart healthy and controls blood sugar levels. Oats are also rich in dietary fiber, which will improve bowel function, digestion and prevent constipation. Oat flakes contain a lot of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. They help lower blood pressure.  Oatmeal is a whole grain product, so when we eat oatmeal for breakfast we have a feeling of satiety for longer. We don't feel like snacking and thus it helps with weight control.

HOW TO MAKE PERFECT OATMEAL

To prepare oatmeal, I usually use the gluten-free version. I feel better after them, but I think this is an individual issue. I also love the process of cooking the oatmeal itself. Mixing them makes me happy, I do it slowly and wait until a creamy consistency is formed. I prepare oatmeal for breakfast on water or a vegetable drink such as Almond. I don't use regular milk, because I noticed that in excess, dairy products negatively affect my well-being and energy during the day.  I could call oatmeal in the morning as a poor man's breakfast. It is cheap and available almost everywhere. In addition, preparing oatmeal does not take much time and is very simple. Stir it over a low heat and give it some time to absorb the water or vegetable drink nicely. There is no point in rushing, the difference in time is maybe 1 min, and the difference in taste is huge.

  • 5 tablespoons oatmeal
  • 2 handfuls of blueberries
  • 1 natural yogurt (180g)
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • teaspoon of peanut butter (10g)
  • pinch of salt
Execution:
  1. Pour boiling water over oatmeal and let stand for about 3-5 minutes
  2. Mix the flakes with yogurt, peanut butter, salt and honey
  3. We put blueberries on top
