How to lose weight while working 12 hours a day?

Darek didn't believe it would work. He works physically every day and is away from home for almost 12 hours. Despite this, he has a problem with abdominal obesity and approached me to help him lose weight and model his figure. He has never followed, any diets, suffers from hypertension and takes special medication to lower his blood pressure. After 3 months he lost 9 kg in weight and 10 cm in waist circumference. 

Darek's story

Darek is a hard-working guy. He has his own construction company and works nearly 12 hours a day. Inspired by the figure metamorphoses of my other charges, he decided that it was high time to change something in his life. He decided to take the plunge and improve his health and figure.
We started from a starting weight of 96 kg. He himself admitted that he was not satisfied with it. Darek had a clear goal: I want to lose weight and model my figure! The positive attitude and desire for change exceeded the expected results. In 3 months we got rid of 9 kg. And we reduced the waist circumference by about 10 cm. 

What did Darek's diet look like?

Darek is not a picky eater. The only thing he avoids in his diet is fatty foods. On the other hand, he is very fond of fruits, vegetables and salads of all kinds. These are acutely beneficial preferences during weight reduction. However, we encountered another problem. 
I know from experience that it's hard to catch Darek outside the scaffold. It is difficult to eat meals at regular times under such conditions. Therefore, we decided to introduce protein and fat breakfasts, which allowed him to release energy for a longer period of time. At the same time, we reduced sugar intake during the day. Darek also started taking shakes to work for his second breakfast. As a result, his eating habits have improved significantly. 

A typical day from Darek's diet, looked like this:

  • Breakfast: scrambled eggs with chives
  • Second breakfast: Chocolate protein shake with chia seeds
  • Lunch: Vegetable casserole with chicken
  • Dinner: Salad with parma ham and mozzarella 

Darek's workout

Darek found time for 3 workouts a week. We started with a fair amount of functional exercises to improve my new charge's overall fitness. Then we gradually expanded the training plan to include strength exercises.
In addition, Darek performed 2 sessions of half-hour cardio training per week. This helped him improve his overall fitness and mood throughout the day. He began to have the energy to do anything after returning from work. 

Effects of our cooperation

Darek took part in a 3-month body metamorphosis project. We worked together exclusively online, through my training platform. Once a month we met for consultations on Google Meet, where we devised a plan for the next month. 
The result is 9 kg less on the scale and about 10 cm in waist circumference. Darek feels much better in his own skin and is eager to continue working on his figure.
