Wiesław's 6-month silhouette makeover

Wiesław is an incredibly determined man! On a daily basis, he deals with running his own business. Unfortunately for him, this involves a lot of stress. An additional problem is that he feeds off this stress with sweet - and lots of it. This has led to excess body fat. Wieslaw decided to intervene. First of all, he wanted to get rid of the 'tire' from his abdomen. He came to me on recommendation by another client. He decided to cooperate in terms of diet and training. We got to work right away and in six months my client lost 10 kg. He also built a lot of muscle mass and significantly improved his eating habits.

What we changed in the diet

Wiesław did not have time to cook, so he used diet catering. However, it turned out that he was only consuming 1,500 calories a day this way. Such an amount for an adult guy weighing over 110 kg is half of the daily requirement! At the time, I was preparing catering for some clients myself. Wiesław decided to join this group. So he did not have to worry about any schedule. He received ready-made meals from me for the whole day, which I adapted specifically to his needs.

We increased the calorie content of the diet to 3,200 per day. This allowed him to maintain a feeling of satiety and stable energy levels throughout the day. In short - Wieslaw finally started eating as much as he should. As a result, his craving for sugary snacks went away. Perhaps it wasn't stress that was the problem at all. We often feel like eating sweets when we are simply hungry. Replacing sweets with healthy meals has resulted in very quick results.

Personal training under my guidance

We started with body weight functional training 3 times a week. At the beginning, the workouts lasted up to 60 minutes. In the beginning, we didn't touch weights at all. The workouts were demanding because we were strengthening weak points in posture. Such exercises require focus and correct technique. Initially, we aimed to improve our range of movement and strengthen the deep abdominal muscles (core stability). These were the most neglected elements in my client's training to date. After four weeks, we started using weights. The improvement in range of movement and mobility resulted in the physique responding very quickly to the new stimulus. The training with weights was producing results very quickly. After six weeks, Wieslaw decided to do additional training. From then on, we trained 4 times a week, with no excuses!

Wiesław's determination was admirable

We had to start training very carefully. Up to that point, Wiesław had been training on his own, without paying much attention to correct technique. There were a lot of mistakes in his movement patterns. This resulted in an increased risk of injury and a lack of satisfactory results. And indeed, Wieslaw has suffered injuries many times in his life. He has a plate inserted in his left clavicle. On top of that, he has a dislocated shoulder and a herniated disc in his lumbar spine. However, he is very fierce and has not let this stand in his way. What's more, after four weeks, Wieslaw started arriving 30 minutes before his scheduled training session. He would do a general warm-up for 10–15 minutes and then move on to a specialized warm-up. He performed the same exercises that we did during functional training. All this so that he could do the training proper under my supervision.

The effects of cooperation

The personalized catering and joint training sessions yielded very fast results. The effects were visible basically from week to week. In the photo, you can see the metamorphosis of the silhouette in just 6 months. During this time, Wiesław lost 10 kg of body weight and gained a lot of muscle mass. His wellbeing and general fitness have also improved. Functional training has effectively improved mobility. It is also an interesting example of reduction. As it turns out, more calories were needed this time. You don't always have to eat less to lose weight.

Brzuszek elegancko zniknął. Aż trudno uwierzyć! Wygląda na to, że dla mnie też nie jest jeszcze za późno. Chyba pora na porządne postanowienie noworoczne ;D
